So you have jailbroken your iPhone/iPod. Now what? I will be showing somethings you should get in order to enjoy your iPhone/iPod even more! These are available from Cydia. Go into the Search tap and look them up!
Essentials
1. WinterBoard: This is the application that allow your to run all those cool themes you see!
2. OpenSSH: This allows you to dig into your iPhone/iPod’s filesystem from any SFTP client and add or remove things from it!
3. SBSettings: If you slide your fingers across the status bar a menu will drop down with this plugin. It has toggles for Wi-Fi, brightness, Bluetooth, 3G, and many more, allowing you to turn these things on or off instantly!
4. iFile: very similar to Mobile Finder which is a application that allows you to do what you can do on the computer with SSH: browse your iPhone/iPod’s internal files.
5. MxTube: Have you been offline without Wi-Fi or 3G and wanted to watch YouTube? Well with this program you can. When you are online with Wi-Fi/3G just download them onto your iPhone/iPod and view them later!

Once you have WinterBoard, you have the ability to install themes to customize the look and feel of your iPhone/iPod. Here are some must sees:

Alex, or anyone..I have wifi but my son just got his iphone and we thought..why not tether. So using the mobile safari thing..we set it up. Now he can use his MBP with his iphone tethered. QUESTION. What are the long range implications..(Charges?) of this. Doesnt he pay for unlimited data?(ATT)
DO NOT USE DATA ABROAD, i used around 50 MB not GG and was fined $200. Tether only in us, and DO NOT EXAGGERATE att MAY charge for that since your SUPPOSED to have a tethering plan.

My ipod 3g with 3.1.2 i got christmas of 09 seems to do nothing i can download a few apps but some apps i download tells me to reboot is that were the tethered feature comes in. also everytime i download a theme and go to winterboard its there but nothing happens when i try to use it why is that… any help at all would be nice.

My iPhone 3g is jailbroken, and the wifi doesn’t work. the wifi stopped working with the update and now i can’t download anything on it using Cydia. I can’t find a place to get sbsettings (and/or swifi). please help, thanks.
