These jailbreaks are done with redsn0w which is release by the iPhone Dev Team. The other jailbreak available only for the iPhone 3G S is purplera1n. redsn0w is so far one of the most efficient jailbreak software out there. Ir does NOT require you to restore your iPhone/iPod manually with a custom firmware in iTunes like other tools! So if you haven’t already, go jailbreak your iPhone/iPod.
