The apps it comes with work well. You can download more applications from the apple website, but some might not work correctly. Let us know what you think.
Make sure to download it on your iPad. Comment below on your thoughts.

Spirit Jailbreak for iPhone/ iPod Touch 3.1.2, 3.1.3! iPad Jailbreak 3.2!

Posted on 02 May 2010 by alexosh1234

Hey! The Spirit Jailbreak was just just released for the iPhone/iPod Touch and iPad! This is huge news for the jailbreaking community.

You can download the small app on your windows or mac at: Download: http://www.iPhoneXpert.com/spiritjailbreakdownload/

The Spirit site is overloaded so I made my own dedicated links for everyone for speedy downloads!

Spirit

What’s Spirit?
Spirit is an untethered jailbreak for iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch on the latest firmwares.
Spirit is not a carrier unlock.
If you currently are using a tethered jailbreak, you have to restore to use Spirit. Do not upgrade if you use an unlock on an iPhone 3G or 3GS. (You can, however, restore to 3.1.2 if you have SHSH blobs for that version.)
Requirements
Any iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch on firmware 3.1.2, 3.1.3, or 3.2.
An activated device: one not stuck on the Connect to iTunes or Emergency Call screen.
Any version of iTunes 9 (including 9.1.1).
Syncing with iTunes before trying this highly recommended.
Note: On iPad, all this is still sort of beta. Some packages in Cydia, not designed for iPad, might screw up your system and require you to restore. Be careful. (And no, Cydia’s appearance is not final.)

Are you jailbreaking now? What is your outcome if you do? Please comment!

A Sweet, but Kinda Complicated Theme! HTC HERO’s Sense UI Theme(iVillain)

Posted on 23 August 2009 by alexosh1234

This theme is pretty awesome, and I wanted to share it with out readers. I hope ya like it. It is a port of the HTC HERO’s Sense UI Theme from the HTC Herp phone. It is a bit complicated to setup, but it definitely pays off. I might make a video of it, but until then check out the video below where it explains and talks about it. Here is a link to the deviant art page for some helpful info: Deviant Art Page.  A very useful guide for setting it up:  Here’s a link to the guide.

INFO on the theme: iVillain is based on the new HTC Hero. It has a flip clock and weather widget. It also has a themed dialer and icons, up next is to continue to theme more apps and the UI to match the style of the HTC Hero.

Hope ya like the post. Comment on what ya think. Spread the word about the site.

Example: photo3No I do not have to make emergency calls. Once I start typing, “Cancel” turns to “OK”.

4th. Click Done and you will be finished. To enable a password if you want one for security purposes, or so your friend doesn’t “snoop” around, go into Settings—> General—> Passcode, and enable it.

How to Make a Custom Lockscreen for your iPhone or iPod Touch!

Posted on 18 July 2009 by Nathan Chancellor

Today I will be showing you how to go from this:

Default Lockscreen

To this

Customized Lockscreen

Requirements:

1. Jailbroken iPod/iPhone
2. WinterBoard from Cydia
3. OpenSSH from Cydia
4. iGlassSol from Cydia for the sliders
5. (Optional) iFile from Cydia
6. An SSH client such as CyberDuck or WinSCP

Process:

1. Connect your iPod/iPhone to your computer. Go into Settings > Wi-Fi and select your Wi-Fi network. Copy your IP address. You will use it later.

Wi-Fi Settings Screen

IP Address!

2. Open your standard SSH client. Type in your IP Address for the hostname, “root” for the username and “alpine” for the password.

WinSCP start up

3. Hit Login.

4a. Create a folder on the desktop called Lockscreen. In that make an folder called Bundles. Inside that create another folder called com.apple.TelephonyUI.

4b. Inside Lockscreen create folder named UIImages.

5. Naviagte from /private/var/root to /private/var/stash/Themes/iGlassSol/Folders/TelephonyUI.framework/. Copy these files: bottombarknobgray.png, bottombarknobgreen.png, bottombarknobred.png. These are your sliders for unlocking, answering and turning off. Download them in the “com.apple.TelephonyUI” folder.

6. To get the clearness around the slider download this file and put it in the “com.apple.TelephonyUI” folder and download this file and put it in UIImages.

7. For a custom lockscreen background put a 320 x 480 PNG file in the Lockscreen folder and name it LockBackground.png.

8. (Optional) If you don’t want the slider text to show then copy this text:

“AWAY_LOCK_LABEL” = “”;
“POWER_DOWN_LOCK_LABEL” = “”;
“SETTING_LANGUAGE” = “”;
“SLIDE_TO_ANSWER” = “”;
“SLIDE_TO_CANCEL” = “Don’t slide the slider”;
“SMS_LOCK_LABEL” = “”;
“SYNC_IN_PROGRESS” = “Syncing… Unlock To Cancel”;

Put that text into a file and name it “SpringBoard.strings”. Create a folder inside the “Bundles” folder of the Lockscreen folder and name it “com.apple.springboard”. Then inside that folder create another one called “en.lproj”. Place the “StringBoard.strings” file in “en.lproj” folder.

8. Upload your Lockscreen folder into your Themes folder on your iPod/iPhone.

9. Go into WinterBoard and select the Lockscreen. And let it respring and you are done!
