With the new iPhone/iPod Touch 3.0 software out, people are calling the iPhone the miracle phone. Although the iPhone/iPod Touch don’t have keys, it is the easiest phone for blind people to use. It is easy because of VoiceOver.
When you turn on VoiceOver (Settings -> General -> Accessibility) you can control everything with your eyes closed. That is because when you touch something, for example mail, it says, “14 unread, 53 spam”. if you click on weather, “55 degrees in Palm Beach, Florida (Yeah right 
)
If you wanted to open mail after it tells you the new emails, all you have to do is double-tap anywhere on the screen. It will then open up and it will read you the new mail if prompted.
