Apple’s change in mute button positions on the Verizon iPhone 4 seemed to cause a problem for owners who wanted to bring their cases over with them from AT&T, however, Apple has created the “universal iPhone 4 Bumper”. Watch the comparison video after the break.

In the video, I show how to make legitimate calls using the iPad 3G on the AT&T network. I can do this by downloading 3G Unrestrictor from Cydia! (To learn how to jailbreak the iPad, go HERE) Apple does not allow calls over 3G, nor do they allow apps like ABC and Netflix(they downgrade the quality tremendously) ABC you can’t even use over 3G. 3G Unrestrictor allows us to remove this blockage and use full 3G connection with any app we desire

According to BGR (boy genius report) AT&T is getting ready to release a $99 version of the 3Gs to compete with the DROID phones. Note that BGR says that the rumor is “Definitely not confirmed” but that they have heard “from two sources”.

Verizon recently released a new commercial advertising a new phone they are planning on releasing in November called the “Droid”, this commercial starting a new smear campaign against the iPhone to glorify their own new “Droid” in hopes of making it #1, the first successor to the mighty iPhone.
In my personal opinion, this was dumb. Verizon should worry about being the #1 carrier whether the phone that gets them there is an original cell phone to it’s carrier or one that has known another one before. My first post on this site was about the iPhone possibly moving to Verizon, and at the time, it was probable as Apple and Verizon were in talks of bringing the iPhone to Verizon, but I must revoke what I said now. The iPhone was going to take Verizon a long way, but enough of my guff, let’s get onto what we are all here for, THE COMMERCIAL!!!!!!!

Apple is almost definitely going to be releasing the 3.1 firmware which will include mms in SEPTEMBER 2009!!! This is great because Apple and AT&T have been telling us that MMS would be coming for a very long time. Some customers even went as far as suing Apple/AT&T for holding back this feature even though they heavily advertised it coming out with the iPhone 3GS release: Link to an interesting article: http://tinyurl.com/sueattapple

If you’re anything like me, you absolutely HATE how slow edge can be when you aren’t in a 3g cover area or near a wifi hotspot. Sometimes, even 3g can be really slow when you’re trying to do something in a hurry, for example, putting in a swagcode with a 2 minute time limit.
Maybe you would just like to use certain apps that are wifi restricted in other areas such as fring,skype, or other VOIP providers. Maybe you want to be able to watch youtube videos in high quality like you do on wifi. Well now you can!
3g unrestrictor allows you to use apps over 3g/edge/GRPS as if you’re on WIFI. It basically “tricks” your iphone into thinking you’re on WIFI and allows you to use these applications with no problem.
The app is available in Cydia for $2 and can be used on any generation iphone (iphone,3g,and 3gs).
