@MuscleNerd of the iPhone Dev Team has just announced that comex, the founder of the Spirit jailbreak, has discovered yet another new userland jailbreak method that works on all iDevices, including the just-released iPhone 4, on iOS 4.

When Is It Coming Out?
Release is unknown at this time, but at least we know there is one available! According to p0sixninja, the jailbreak uses some of Apple’s software, so we won’t be able to see a release until they can make a version of the JB that doesn’t reply on Apple software.

thx for the good news. I was traped in ios4 (already jb with spirit on 3.1.3) which i upgarde it thro apple server (itunes 9.2) and didnt save my SHSH (cuz i'm new in apple software) .. thanks again

The only thing he confirmed is his tweet is the delivery date of his iPhone 4 – July 2nd…

Hi everybody.. I just bought an iPhone 3GS(new bootrom) already updated to ios4 officially.. There is an unlock for it but no jailbreak right? So without jailbreak then unlock won’t happen as well.. Am I right?

I've been checking spiritjb.com every day for the past week or so, trying to make sure that he jailbroke the iOS4.
Geohot says, flat-out, he has NO PLANS TO JAILBREAK IOS4.
So Comex is working on one currently, correct?
Does anyone have any reliable information pertaining to this subject?
