According to BGR (boy genius report) AT&T is getting ready to release a $99 version of the 3Gs to compete with the DROID phones. Note that BGR says that the rumor is “Definitely not confirmed” but that they have heard “from two sources”.
ATT need to give up the iPhone and let Verizon have it. ATT sucks. That being said I have had ATT since the first week iPhones hit the market. Coverage sucks, lack of 3G in many markets sucks, and did I mention the lack of coverage sucks? LOL The idea of the Droid almost seems tempting for the better coverage.
A 99 dollar 3GS would be cool. I didn't jump on purchasing a 3GS because Apple has is bad about dropping new products not long after releasing the "next greatest thing". I would assume with the 64 gig iPod Touch out we should see a 64 gig phone in the near future. That certainly will not be 99 dollars.
At&T is growing company and its application will be very best as far i used.
