Hey Alexosh. I have an iphone 3g jailbroken using spirit to version 3.1.3.
Firstly thanks for all your help and advice on your youtube channel and this site. secondly, should i upgrade to jailbreak 4.0? i've heard its really slow on the 3g. Thirdly, whats the best way to go about upgrading to jailbreak 4.0 (or whatever its at now).
I'm not 100% savvy on all this as someone jailbroke my phone for me.
At the moment i'm finding that my phone is really buggy… crashing all the time and other weird problems. This might just be my phone or the jailbreak…. clueless.

Yes, iOS4 is slower on older devices like the iPhone 3G, but not as bad as you think.
If you visit jailbreakme.com straight from your iPhone through Safari, it'll jailbreak your device running 4.0.
Jailbreaking does not affect your performance nor battery– it is the stuff you do with it that will have the most impact.
I'd recommend updating to 4.0, and jailbreak using jailbreakme.com.

Ok person trying to get install0us in sources add cydia.hackulo.us then download installous from them and it works trust me and plus u don’t need to enter a source for it to work it automatically has the apps hope this helps

i have ipod touch 2gen MC model on ios 4.0, when i "slide to jailbreak" it shows the "jailbreaking" bar for about 2 seconds, then it dissappears and pops up with some error, what i did wrong?
