3rd. (Shown Above) You can now enter in your password, make sure to at least use 1 number, BUT you can use letters woot!

Example: photo3No I do not have to make emergency calls. Once I start typing, “Cancel” turns to “OK”.

4th. Click Done and you will be finished. To enable a password if you want one for security purposes, or so your friend doesn’t “snoop” around, go into Settings—> General—> Passcode, and enable it.

If you want to remove it, go to Settings and scroll down to the bottom, where it will say Profiles. Click on that, then click on “Custom Passcode” and you can click the red button that says remove.

I hope you liked this tutorial, make sure to sign up on the forum, and tell others about the new website, iPhoneXpert.com!

I got this up and running on my iPod Touch 3G and I went to settings to check out the new passcode lock thingy. It says it will erase all data after 2 failed attempts, and you can't switch to no. I'm not using this until you can change that setting. Or please give me give me an edited version of this where you can change that. Fessler.Chris@gmail.com

hey guys i figured it out. first do everything that he says to do and install it. then go to profile or where ever you need to uninstall it. once it is uninstalled do not turn the passcode off. then u can have the freedom to uncheck the box that says erase after 10 tries. notice it switched to 10 instead of 2. u also have other options but now u can keep the lettered passxode as long as u dont turn the passcode off. hope this helped so
e as it did for me.
