Hi Steve, I was updating my Apple 3GS from 4.0 to lastest version on my windows 7 PC it was in process a friend of mine pulled the wire, I tried to reconnect and continue the install but it showed unknown error (1015) and the update icon is blocked only 'Restore' is active I tried several times to restore it still shows the same error after downloading about 70 to 80% i used option & shift keys and clicked on updates , restore, reinstalled iTunes all possibilities still facing the same problem. Please let me know how to go for it. Regard, Junaid

okay… i tried it but when i do shift then restore it says this could not be restored because the firmware file is not compatible.
