Hey guys, Jake here from TheJailbreakNation. Today i’m going to be showing you how to change/edit your system/springboard strings, which you normally have to do by SSH, directly from your iPod Touch or iPhone. If you don’t know what system strings are, they are the notifications that pop up on your device, like 20% battery remaining, and the slide to unlock text. These can be changed to whatever text you wish, by using an application called iFile, a paid app in the cydia store that comes with a trial (which i am using). In the video below i will show you how to get the application, and how to edit you strings from the application.
*WARNING*
do not mess around with this, don’t edit things that your not sure what they do. Make sure you are certain that you are editing the right thing.
*YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED*
Thanks for watching guys, and enjoy your custom system strings!

nice work. of all the videos showing how to do this, you're the only one that navigated to the correct file, where ALL the system strings are. good work.
