Ok so to start off this review I would like to mention that this game has the EXACT same concept as Flight Control did. This game just takes what flight control had and improves on it, making it better overall! You have to basically drag boats into the harbour and the difference is that you also have to drag them out after they have finished unloading their cargo. Overall the concept is really fun and VERY addicting. Harbour master also has a very original soundtrack to go along with it making it a lot more enjoyable to play.
Harbor Master also supports online high scores, 4 unlockable maps (adding more every week), 3 types of ships, multi touch support to play with a friend, and multiple profiles.
You can also tweet your score after a shift of play! The graphics in this game are also absolutely amazing and very well polished making the game run smoothly on the ipod/iphone. A really cool thing about this game is that in each level there are different obstacles/ challenges to beat. There are pirates, cyclones, and many other little things that make each level different and unique in its own way!
I have found myself coming back to this game a lot when I’m bored or waiting somewhere! My favourite part about this game is its crisp graphics and smooth gameplay. I also like how each level has its own different obstacles. The main menu is also designed very uniquely making you want to open the app even more! The sound effects are really cool and useful as they help you figure out when one of the boats are about crash and etc.
So overall this game is really well designed. It’s not the most original concept but the frequent updates and smooth, addicting gameplay makes this game awesome and original. I will rate this game a 4.5/5 just because this game is very addicting but the concept isn’t original. I will definitely recommend this for any flight control fans out there but also for anybody that likes a good addicting game for a very low price!
