This is an awesome theme, especially with the background. If you make a video or tweet about it, please mention the site or me, alexosh1234. Thanks
For this theme, you will need to download the theme on your computer, and ssh it into your iPhone. If you know how to ssh, this should be extremely easy. If not, there will be a video below explaining how to ssh themes into your iPhone.
To ssh, use cyberduck for mac, and winscp for windows. Search on google and download for free.
This theme is pretty awesome, and I wanted to share it with out readers. I hope ya like it. It is a port of the HTC HERO’s Sense UI Theme from the HTC Herp phone. It is a bit complicated to setup, but it definitely pays off. I might make a video of it, but until then check out the video below where it explains and talks about it. Here is a link to the deviant art page for some helpful info: Deviant Art Page. A very useful guide for setting it up: Here’s a link to the guide.
INFO on the theme: iVillain is based on the new HTC Hero. It has a flip clock and weather widget. It also has a themed dialer and icons, up next is to continue to theme more apps and the UI to match the style of the HTC Hero.
Hope ya like the post. Comment on what ya think. Spread the word about the site.

Have you ever wanted to have rotating wallpapers but don’t want to have a resource hog? Well then Bosspaper is the thing for you. You can get this from the Bigboss repo. When you start a app or lock your iPhone or iPod touch this app will stop running so that it doesn’t drain the battery or slow down the system.
This is what the BossPaper icon looks like when you download it from cydia.
When BossPaper starts up you will be introduced to this screen. Here is the whole app. You have a choice to turn it on and have solid colors. Next you can pic where you want you pictures to come from. You can have the pictures load from a folder and you can pick individual pictures that you want. You can download BossPaper packs in cydia that come with backgrounds. I have the plain and simple pack on my iPod. Then you can choose what dock image you want. If you turn on solid colors only then you can pick what colors you want.
As you scroll down farther through the app you will come the the Slideshow & Transitions part. In this part you can choose what transition you want to use when the background changes. You can have the background change when an app closes and/or you can have it change every few seconds, minutes, or hours. When you touch the secs button it will change to mins or hours. Then you can disable random if you want you background pictures to be in order.
Then you scroll down farther you get to the Options part. You can choose how dim you want you background and you can hide icon and dock labels. Thanks for reading my review of this awesome app.
Check out the iLLumine Theme. It is awesome. Post in the comments what you think about it. The theme is available from the ModMyi Source and you can download it from Cydia and activate it in Winterboard.
So, this morning I planned on giving a great detailed article over how to change system strings with pictures and everything but unfortunately, my iphone froze and I’m in the process of completely rebooting. However, I can still take you through the steps just without pictures. Sorry guys! This is the EASY WAY WITHOUT A COMPUTER!!!!
The system strings are the “Slide to Unlock” , “Slide to Cancel”, “Slide to do whatever else.” With the help of iFile (click to see info) and a Cydia app, you can now change the strings to say whatever you want i.e. “Welcome KC!”
Things you will need:
Cydia, iFile, Slide to Unlock Killer, Winterboard
First what you want to do is go into cydia and install iFile.
After installing that, add new source (http://cydia.touch-mania.com)
Then search for “Slide to Unlock Killer” and install that
Next, go back to your homescreen and click on iFile. Go into settings and turn on Hidden Files. Next to the very beginning of the folders and follow this: Var/Stash/Themes/EntriegelKiller
Once you’ve done this, choose your language (Most of you will click on “En”) Follow this after EntriegelKiller: Folders/Springboard/En.lproj/Springboard Strings
Once the page with text shows up this is where you will change your strings. You can kind of read through them to understand which ones are which. I do remember that the second one about user_lock or something is the “Slide to Unlock”
To edit these, click on edit in the top left and put your cursor in between the ” ” to the right of the strings you want to change.
After typing your text, delelte any spaces between the ” ” i.e “Welcome KC! “<<<–you would make it look like “Welcome KC!”
After you’ve changed all the strings that you want, click save.
Go into winterboard and turn on Entriegel Killer and let it refresh and now your system strings should be changed.
Any questions or comments, leave in the comments section!
So, I have been wanting to make this video, and I finally did. I spent hours on it researching, checking out themes, editing, and such. I hope you guys like the video as much as I liked making it.
Comment and tell me what you want to see, maybe in another Theme video!
