Verizon recently let out a statement declaring that the Verizon iPhone ”In just our first two hours, …had already sold more phones than any first day launch in our history”. What’s even more amazing is that the record was broken “ between the hours of 3 a.m. and 5 a.m”. Verizon is yet to give any specific numbers in actual unit sales, however those figures are also expeced to be quite good. This video features the newly released MyWi tethering app available only to jailbreakers though Cydia. The app now has a smaller battery footprint, an iPad app companion, and a new “Set and Forget” feature that throttles the amount of tethering ( internet sharing) between your phone and another device depeinging on how much data the device is requesting (saving a considerable amount of battery life).

Apple’s products are notoriously difficult to open and repair, they want you to buy new stuff, but this is especially ridiculous. During repairs, they’re replacing the iPhone 4′s Philips screws with weird new ones for which no screwdriver exists. But its ok… we have a solution!

Apple’s change in mute button positions on the Verizon iPhone 4 seemed to cause a problem for owners who wanted to bring their cases over with them from AT&T, however, Apple has created the “universal iPhone 4 Bumper”. Watch the comparison video after the break.

After years of speculation and rumors, Verizon will be launching the iPhone 4 to the general public on February 10, 2011. Existing Verizon customers will be able to begin preorders on February 3rd with availability to everyone else on February 10th.
